New Avenue Theatre
Project is a not-for-profit theatre company created for the
development and production of new plays by new artists for the benefit
of New York audiences.
To date, we have produced three
original mainstage shows (Four Notes and a Blender, Heterosexuals,
and Incidental Lives), a three-week festival of new
solo shows (First Dates & One Night Stands),
a workshop production (Eddie!) as well as providing
production support for the women’s theatre company House
of Truth, development support for unequalibrium,
and our on-going reading series, Works in Progress. New Avenue is proud to be
able provide the resources to developing projects that make it possible
for us to bring exciting new works to our constantly expanding
audiences.
